Support allows group to benefit community

Letters to the Editor

The Big Cedar Homemakers would like to thank everyone who has supported us over the many years. Since 1998 our group has raised more than $24,000 and donated it to local groups in the community. Groups we have supported include the Tahoe QRU, the Ridge Runner Fire Department, the Kooskia Community Library, the Kooskia Food Bank and 4-H.

Attending the Navajo Taco Feed in September and purchasing Holiday Swags in December enables us to continue our monetary contributions annually.

We also use this money to maintain and improve the historic 1921 Big Cedar Schoolhouse. We invite you to continue the tradition by joining us at the Navajo Taco Feed on Friday, Sept. 8 at the Big Cedar Schoolhouse from 5-7 p.m. Come visit with old friends and make new acquaintances. Thank you again for your continued support.
