Blood drive set for Dec. 13

GRANGEVILLE – Grangeville High School’s Ethan Ormsby’s senior project is an American Red Cross blood drive at the Grangeville Armory Wednesday, Dec. 13, noon to 5 p.m. Stop in to donate; sign up on-line at http://www.redcrossblood.org/rcbmobile/drive/driveSearch.jsp?utm_campaign=rco_search&utm_medium=rco_blood&utm_source=redcross.org and enter the sponsor code as “Ethan” and a window will come up. Tenmile Mining District meeting scheduled Dec. 9

HARPSTER – The Tenmile Mining District has scheduled an organizational meeting at 6 p.m. Dec. 9 at the Harpster Store and RV Park, with the meeting to follow a rock show that day.

Meeting topics will be road closures, Wild and Scenic River, and local government land use plan. Guest speaker will be Marty Gardner.

American Legion meeting is tonight; Christmas party for veterans, families is Dec. 9

GRANGEVILLE — Grangeville American Legion Post 37 will have the December meeting tonight, Wednesday, Dec. 6, at the Idaho County Veterans Outreach and Community Center at 7 p.m. Plans for the Christmas party on Dec. 9 will be discussed.
