Season’s Greetings: NICI inmates sing carols to Meadowlark Home residents

Residents at Meadowlark Homes in Grangeville received a festive start to the holiday weekend last Friday, Dec. 22. Inmates with North Idaho Correctional Institution at Cottonwood visited to sing a selection of Christmas carols, and also provided handcrafted Christmas stockings and greeting cards. The volunteer group of 19 men also made visits that day to Grangeville Health and Rehabilitation, and the Monastery of St. Gertrude in Cottonwood. Assisting with the stops were NICI staff: Warden Aaron Krieger, Lt. Brian Crowl, Sgt. Lacey Graham and Kim Greenwood.
