VEST Fest fund-raiser set March 11 at Kooskia

To benefit Clearwater Valley schools

— VEST (Valley Educational Support Team — InVESTing in School and Community) will host its second annual fund-raiser Saturday. March 11, at the Outpost/Opera House in Kooskia.

The event starts at 6 p.m. with student performances. There will be a social and silent auction that will begin at 6:30 p.m., with dinner, catered by Stephanie Duclos, at 7 p.m. A live auction will commence at 8 p.m. For those who would like to dance, deejay Bruce Nuxoll will provide music.

VEST provides funds for specific projects for the CV schools that may not be generally funded through general budgetary processes. It has provided tablets for K-2 elementary students, TI48 Graphing Calculators for the math classes at CVHS, as well as scholarships for the Ray Bowles and Bud Springer Memoral Award winners. The main fund-raisers come from monthly and annual sponsorships, as well as the VEST Fest.

Tickets for VEST Fest are $20 each and can be purchased from Cindy Dahler at CVHS, or Lara Smith at CVES.
