— Happy Valentine’s Day! May you and those who are special to you have a great day. We especially ask God’s blessing on all married couples. Maybe our days of being snowbound are over. We have certainly had our share this year.

A Lincoln Day Dinner sponsored by Idaho County Republicans will be held Feb. 25, at the Greencreek Community Hall. Social Hour starts at 5 p.m., dinner and auction at 6 p.m., with a presentation at 7 p.m. Master of Ceremonies is Doug Giddings. The guest speaker will be Rod Beck, who was President Trump’s Idaho chairman during the campaign. Also speaking will be our legislators, Senator Carl Crabtree, and representatives Paul Shepherd and Priscilla Giddings. Tickets are $25 each. Get your tickets from any ICRCC member or Donna Wassmuth at 962-3561.

“Standing on the Rock of Faith,” a powerful Lenten parish mission with International Catholic lay evangelist Richard Lane will begin on March 6, and go through March 9. It will be held at St. Mary’s Church at 7 p.m., each evening. You will not want to miss this dynamic speaker. All are welcome and invite your friends and family. If you are hungry for healing, revival and renewal, then come and be fed!

Holy Cross/St. Mary’s Dinner will be Sunday, Feb. 26. Save the date! Co-chairmen for the dinner are Heath and Tara Klapprich and Shirley Gehring. Raffle chairman is Glenn Poxleitner. Plan ahead to attend this wonderful roast beef dinner!

Selena Davila will be doing a body positivity camp for young girls ages 6th through 9th grades for her senior project called Be-You-tiful. It will be on Saturday, March 11, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Prairie Elementary School Gym. Cost is $10 per girl. This will be a day of games, fun sessions and other activities. Lunch and a T-shirt will be provided. She needed your RSVP to selenamd@hotmail.com by Feb. 10, but you are also welcome to come the day of the camp.
