The Pirates created second and third chances on the offensive glass, but the Wildcats turned the mid-court into a total slog. Prairie finished with as many rebounds (35) as turnovers, according to the Lewiston Tribune.

Chaye Uptmor and Josie Peery had seven points apiece for Prairie.

During the first round of the 1AD1 state tournament, Prairie will play Liberty Charter at Columbia High School at 8 p.m. MT Thursday, Feb. 16.
