MOUNT IDAHO — From sea to shining sea, quilters across America will be threading their needles and putting the pedal to the metal while creating Quilts of Valor.

Camas Prairie Quilts of Valor will meet Saturday, Feb. 4, to help fulfill the mission of the Quilts of Valor Foundation to cover service members and veterans with Quilts of Valor.

Bring a sewing machine, beverage and snack to share and meet at 27 Bow Lane, Grangeville, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Bow Lane is about five miles southeast of Grangeville off Mount Idaho Grade Road and Poplar Drive (signs will be posted).

Irons and ironing boards will be provided, along with a large pot of homemade chili, and coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Camas Prairie Quilts of Valor has fabric, patterns or kits available, or participants can bring their own Quilt of Valor project.
