The kids participating in Grangeville Centennial Library’s summer reading program learned about the importance of proper pet care from Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF) member Megan Lucas on June 29. The kids also got to make dog chew toys out of repurposed T-shirts, and also planted cat grass. Many were excited to check out the pet turtle as well. Visit GCL for details about the summer reading program and go to arfshelter.org for information about the Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF), which is raising funds to build a local animal shelter in Grangeville.
