Harpster to have Bingo monthly, starting July 20

HARPSTER – Bingo will be held at the Harpster Community Hall the third Thursday of each month, starting July 20, 6:30 p.m. Cards are $5 each and $1 more for a second card.

Volunteers needed for Elk City Wagon Road Days

CLEARWATER — Vendors and parade participants are needed for the Clearwater- Elk City Wagon Road Days celebration, July 15. There are no fees and all participants receive a free hamburger lunch.

Setup for vendors begins at 9 a.m. on Clearwater’s Main Street. The parade lineup begins at 9:30 a.m., and the parade begins at 10:30 a.m. Call Susanne at 926-4278 or Linda at 926-4606.

There is also a variety show at 1:30 p.m. Performing volunteers for the show are encouraged. To participate contact Dana Lohrey at 791-4548.

Jam’n in the park set for Craigmont

CRAIGMONT — The annual Jam’n in the Park in Craigmont will be held Thursdays in July from 6-8:30 p.m. Dates are July 6, 13, 20 and 27.

Vintage Youth will play July 13. This is a classic rock band from Grangeville. Gospel evening is July 27. Others will be announced later. If interested in performing or for additional information about the event, call 924-5432. The event is sponsored by the City of Craigmont and the Craigmont Gem Committee. Bring chairs and blankets.

Join committee to save Old Opera House

KOOSKIA – All musicians, artists, entertainers and artisans who wish to join the Old Opera House Cultural Committee call Gloria Taylor at 983-0314.

County orchestra seeks members

Do you play a stringed (or other C) instrument? The Idaho County Orchestra is looking for new members. They describe themselves as a fun group of people who enjoy playing music together. They rehearse once a week, Thursdays at 7 p.m., at the Grangeville Church of the Nazarene, 515 W. N. 2nd Street.

Those who are interested feel free to stop by on a Thursday evening.
