Mark your calendars – Crazy Days in Grangeville will be Aug. 3 and 4, and Octoberfest in Grangeville will be Sept. 29 and 30.
The next Grangeville Community Blood Drive will be held at the Armory on Thursday, June 29, from noon to 5:30 p.m. This drive is administered by Inland Northwest Blood Center, and sponsored by Syringa Hospital and Clinics. To schedule an appointment, call Dana Greig at 983-8571.
Jan’s Paparazzi Boutique reopens
Grand opening set for Tuesday, July 4
GRANGEVILLE – Need some jewelry and accessories for the upcoming holiday?
Jan Meggerson will re-open “Jan’s Paparazzi Boutique” at 322 W. South Street, located just behind the courthouse.
Meggerson offers a large variety of the Paparazzi brand jewelry for $5 each which includes necklaces, earrings, bracelets, hair items and rings. In addition, she has made an assortment of crocheted items as well as baskets using recycled materials.
Meggerson originally opened in 2015, but had to close when her husband, Tom, became ill and subsequently died. Her grand opening on July 4 will honor her husband, whom she was married to for 44 years.
Meggerson will hold a drawing for $200 worth of free jewelry. Anyone who visits will get a ticket to enter the drawing, no purchase necessary.
The boutique will be open July 1, 3 and 4, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., then as announced following the holiday week. (Closed Sunday).
Red’s Café in White Bird will be closing at 4 p.m. next Sunday, July 2, for the GHS class of 1987 reunion dinner. They will be open 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. that day for the public.
If you need another place to chill out and cool off during the Border Days festivities, Despicable Me 3 is coming to the Blue Fox June 29, 6:30 p.m., and playing through July 6, 6:30 p.m. daily with matinees Saturday and Sunday, July 1 and 2 at 11:30 a.m.
