Lowell / Syringa News: Town shoveling out for … spring?

Marie Smith 208-926-0803

— Not one word about weather. If you don’t hear from me next week, I’m buried in the snow under my satellite dish with a scraper in my cold frozen hands trying to get my Internet to come back on! “The Revenant” doesn’t have anything on me.

Fish and Game Fisheries Unit pulled out last weekend. Next comes logging and rafting. Rented several cabins to normal people, and some reservations for spring break are coming in. The hot springs up the Lochsa are always popular with the college students from U of I and Montana.

The flu is going around CV Elementary School, but those germs need warmth to spread, so no worries for us!

Oh, and one more thing, snow geese were spotted at confluence.
