The Haiti Mission team will be selling jewelry after all the Masses during the week of April 1 to 8. Available for purchase will be items for First Communion, Confirmation, Easter, and birthdays. Stop by and see our nice variety.

Dates have been set for Penance Services for Lent in the Tri-Parish. March 23 will be at Assumption at 7 p.m. On April 4, the service will be at St. Mary’s at 7 p.m.

The Missoula Children’s Theatre presented “Treasure Island” last week and it was a big hit as usual. Children from both schools were picked to act in the play. They all had fun and the audience was entertained very well. They always do a great job.

The blood drive is coming up on April 3 at the Cottonwood Community Hall sponsored by Inland Northwest Blood Center. It is on a Monday this time, which is a change from the past. Call St. Mary’s Hospital to make an appointment, 962-3251, if you do not already have one.

The snow keeps melting and the mud gets deeper as the recent rains have caused flooding in many areas around the prairie. The Says Phoebe birds have started working on their nest. We have 5 Canadian Geese hanging around our pond. They are fun to see, but I think they can get mean, too. A few robins and a couple pairs of ducks round out our bird population for now.
