Well, the “slide” is sliding some more (see photo). I took this photo on Friday, the 17th. Notice the upriver side.

Wine tasting is April 14

I need to learn to look up when I walk out my door. Scared up a small herd of elk and if I had been more attentive, I would have taken a few photos of them in my yard to share with you.

I laughed at Marie Smith’s list from last week. Those of us who live in the remote areas of the state, experience this on an almost predictable basis – a storm coming, wind raging – get ready for a power outage! Just want to add one positive note to her list. If you have kids living with you or grandkids staying with you during those outages, you could use this time away from all the electronic distractions to get to know them – play games, read books together, etc. Just thinking…

Went to see the play put on by the Clearwater Valley High School (Kooskia) students, “Guys and Dolls, Jr.” We had two granddaughters in it and it was great to watch both of them and the rest of the students do an outstanding job.

Meetings: Sew Help Me Quilters on the 28th.

Birthdays: Katie Enos, Jaylynn Montgomery and Nick Hagaman.
