Celebrating Mardi Gras St. Mary’s Style

St. Mary’s Hospital hosted its annual fund-raiser Saturday, March 25, at the Cottonwood Community Hall. Participants bid on both silent and live auction items following a meal. Money raised was earmarked for the installation of a sprinkler system for the hospital. Currently the hospital does not have a sprinkler system and adding one would bring the facility up to building code. The total raised at the Mardi Gras event, toward the $200,000 needed to complete upgrades, could not be confirmed by press time.
