Hendren displays hitching during equine demo

A sunny Saturday greeted 105 attendees at the Equine Education Experience, held April 29 at the Kooskia Saddliers Arena on U.S. Highway 12 at Kooskia. The event was sponsored by The Back Country Horsemen of North Central Idaho and included presentations on horse health, horseshoeing and cargo/pannier packing, as well as vendor displays, skill demonstrations and children’s horse rides. Here, horseshoeing presenter Shane Hendren demonstrates hitching issues as part of his trade.
