— The Friends of the Clearwater-Elk City Wagon Road are hosting a desert at the museum Saturday May 20, 1-4 p.m. All are welcome. The Wagon Road Museum is a step into the past which was opened four years ago in the Clearwater Grange Hall in beautiful downtown Clearwater.

The museum will be open, coffee, tea and desserts will be served. Donations are accepted.

The Wagon Road was built 1894-95 to haul supplies from rail lines in Stites and Harpster to the mining camps around Elk City. The museum celebrates this era and history of the Clearwater area. There are many displays of pictures and items of the past.
