Tahoe QRU Bake Sale

Running a volunteer emergency medical service organization takes bodies and, as well, funds to keep it going. EMTs with Tahoe QRU (Quick Response Unit) ran a fund-raising bake sale in Kooskia on Saturday, May 13, featuring items from cupcakes to chicken bites. As well, the unit is raffling a shotgun with a specialized waterproof container that will be announced at Kamiah Free Barbecue in the fall. Among the volunteers running the sale that day were (L-R) Irene Finehout and Madelon Gribble.
