— River Dance Lodge is open for lunch and dinner every day. Wilderness Inn is open all day, too. Good food, good friends, how lucky are we! Two choices for delicious food upriver. Eat, drink, be merry, and float down the river.

Clearwater Valley High School boys’ track team went down to Boise for the state meet and came home with a second-place trophy after a great performance. Mike Smith, Jr., of Lowell is the team’s head coach. Lara Smith (Mrs Mike Smith) is assistant coach!

Three Rivers Rafting has three big groups in three days. Ryan Gillespie’s big birthday group, Fairchild Air Force Base with very strong men and women, and Father Daniel with a great group of paddlers. All the groups had sunshine and perfect runs down the mighty Lochsa.

Memorial Day weekend just ahead, then school is out, and summer on the way.

Alan Hamilton has a photo shoot with AIRE BOATS in a couple weeks, hoping the river will be about five feet, but hard to outguess the runoff.

Sunshine has been a long time coming, I’m just going to go out and bask in it.
