Cottonwood News: Chmelik table to be given away at Summit Academy Mystery Night

— The drawing for a table made by Jim Chmelik of Chesky Woodworking in Cottonwood will be held at Summit Academy Mystery Night this Saturday, Nov. 4. It is a beautiful table created from Quarter Sawn White Oak and Sycamore. The fund-raiser is for the Diocese of Boise Seminarians and Summit Academy Catholic School. Tickets for Mystery Night are all sold out, but several people have multiple tickets and would let you have one. Call the school if you want tickets for either of these. 208-962-5650.

Keep Christ in Christmas by buying Christmas cards from the Knights of Columbus members. Joe Didier 208-507-1791; Norm Sonnen 208-962-3424: Greg Nau 208-507-0175. Cards will also be available in the back of all the churches.

A dinner dance CHAIR-ITY fund-raiser for Sister Mary’s children will be held Nov. 10, at the Greencreek Community Hall from 6 to 9 p.m. There will be live entertainment, a loaded baked potato bar, beer and wine and an auction. Aren’t the fall colors pretty this year? Some trees are yellow, red and green. I have never seen them so pretty.
