I would love to reach out to the entire Riggins community for all of the love and support you show toward our young student-athletes here at Salmon River Jr.-Sr. High School.
It is evident over the years that a large part of our identity has been shaped by our success both on and off the field and court, so to speak.
While some may argue that we are defined by how we handle our losses, I believe that we are equally, if not better, defined by what it takes to win.
Success does not come lightly or easily. Consider the student population of our high school student body: 40. Currently, nearly 32 of those students participate in athletics, be it one sport, two sports, or three sports. Learning to rely on one another and work with what we’ve got is a testament to the time and effort put in by both students and coaches. Our success is marked by time, effort, sacrifice and solidarity.
I am forever grateful for the opportunities my kids and others have experienced as being a part of a strong and resilient school and community. Thank you to our teachers and coaches at SRHS, and a big thank you to community and fans.
