ISP investigating US12 semi crash involving Kooskia man

Highway blocked 4.5 hours



— Idaho State Police is continuing to investigate last week’s single vehicle noninjury crash on U.S. Highway 12 east of Lewiston involving a Kooskia man.

The incident was reported Thursday, Nov. 9, 10:12 a.m. near milepost 23, according to ISP. Jacob W. Baldwin, 45, was driving a 2007 Kenworth semi tractor with an empty log trailer eastbound when he became distracted, drove off the right shoulder, overcorrected and rolled the vehicle onto its side.

Baldwin was wearing his seat belt. The highway was blocked for approximately 4.5 hours.
