Kooskia man arrested during stop for failure to register as sex offender
On Oct. 13, Idaho County Corporal Craig Hoodman had contact with John M. Graham, 49, during a traffic stop.
Shortly after the traffic stop was concluded, Hoodman received information Graham was a registered sex offender who was residing in Kooskia without having registered in Idaho County.
Graham was arrested for felony failure to register as a sex offender, and misdemeanor possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia, according to the Idaho County Sheriff’s Office.
Graham’s criminal history reflects multiple violations of his obligation to register as a sex offender in multiple states.
Graham was released on $2,000.00 bond.
Lt. Doug Ulmer advised, “the public has access to information on Idaho’s registered sex offenders on the Idaho State Police website at www.isp.idaho.gov/sor_id/”.
