Fire burns 75 acres on White Bird Grade

— A fire on the night of Oct. 17 burned about 75 acres above the White Bird Grade and was fought by the Idaho Department of Lands and the Forest Service. There were no injuries or property losses, IDL said Monday, Oct. 23.

“The cause is currently under investigation and we do not yet have the cost of fighting the fire,” IDL public information officer Sharla Arledge said Oct. 20.
