‘Game Week’ scheduled

Several local libraries will be participating in International Games Week (Oct. 29-Nov. 4). International Games Week is an initiative run by volunteers from around the world to reconnect communities through their libraries around the educational, recreational, and social value of games.

The following Prairie-River Library District branches invites all ages. Bring your own game to share or play one of ours. See a full list of upcoming events on the website,

•Kamiah Community Library, 505 Main St., will host Game Day all day Wednesday, Nov. 1, from 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Drop in and play online gaming options available including Steam and, tabletop and card games, and more.

•Craigmont Community Library, 112 W. Main St., will host Game Day on Wednesday, Nov. 1, from 3:30-5 p.m. Bring your friends and enjoy some games.

•Kooskia Community Library, 026 S. Main St., will host Game Day on Friday, Nov. 3, from noon-5 p.m. Come in and play Pinochle, card games, Scrabble Slam, Cootie, Monopoly and more.
