FYI, Grangeville High School’s football team will take to the field this Friday night, Oct. 27, 7 p.m., where they will face Melba.

You can help with the Grangeville Volunteer Fire Department’s annual Santa Truck. Just purchase raffle tickets at $5 each for a drawing that will take place Dec. 11 (need not be present to win).

Prizes include a guided fishing trip donated by Hammer Down River Excursion, a gun safe from B&B, a custom-made hope chest with hidden gun storage, and a 12 x 15 area rug donated by Bettie’s.

Proceeds will go toward updating some of the decorations on the Santa Truck and also for a toy drive for some families in need in Grangeville.

Tickets can be picked up at B&B, Bettie’s, Rae Bros and Lindsley’s Home Furnishings.

Medicare open enrollment is happening now through Dec. 7. A certified SHIBA (Senior Health Insurance Benefit Advisory) counselor is available through Syringa Hospital and Clinics to help you navigate Medicare benefits.

Call Sue Little, patient financial counselor and certified SHIBA counselor, at 208-983-8549 for questions regarding Medicare benefits, Med Advantage Plans, and MediGaps (Medicare supplemental plans). Little can also assist with reviewing Medicare drug plans, signing patients up for drug plans, applying for extra help and the Medicare Savings programs.

It’s Ladies Night Out at The Gallery Wednesday, Nov. 1, 5 to 8 p.m. Stop in for “Moonlight Magic” featuring handcrafted jewelry, Doterra oils, homemade canned goods, Lularoe, soap, food, Hammered Treasures, Pampered Chef, Limelight, cleaning products, makeup and more.

Taste a bit of local wine with Lindsey Creek Vineyards. Light appetizers will also be served.

Grangeville Community Foundation’s fifth annual grant award celebration will be on Thursday, November 2nd from 5-7 p.m. at the senior citizens center. This year, 17 grants totaling more than $8,000 will be awarded. RSVP by noon on October 30th. Call 208-983-5962 or email
