Grangeville Senior Citizens Center

The September 1st meeting was opened with Stanley Modrell leading the Pledge of Allegiance and Barbara Essen offering the prayer. Frank Hausladen won the drawing for a free dinner. There were 77 meals served at the site and 39 hot and 67 frozen meals home delivered. Guests this week were Richard & Connie Prall from Benton City, Wash.

Pinochle Winners: Jane Burgess, first with 6,300 and Beth Parish, second with 5,350.

The September 8th meeting was opened with the Pledge of Allegiance led by Stanley Modrell. Shirley Crane offered the prayer. The free dinner drawing was won by Thomas Satre. 77 meals were served at the site and 36 hot and 67 frozen dinners were home delivered. There were no guests this day. Pinochle Winners: Barbara Henderson, first with 3,600; Beth Parish, second with 3,430.

Menu Sept. 15: (Fiddlers entertaining) Spaghetti w/Meat Sauce, Green Beans, Tossed Veggie Salad w/Buttermilk Dressing, Apricots, Chocolate Chip Cookie.

Menu Sept. 18: Salad Bar, Sliced Roast Turkey, Tossed Veggie Salad w/Caesar Dressing, Tomatoes, Macaroni Salad, Fruit Cup, Apple Bread Pudding.
