Court hearing pending in felony drug charges

A court hearing is pending for a Grangeville woman arrested Monday, Sept. 11, on multiple felony drug charges.

According to ICSO, the arrest came after Corporal Craig Hoodman made contact with Lacy L. Brannan, 32, and another subject at the dumpsters at Lukes Gulch and Prairie roads. While Hoodman was conversing with the subjects, Corporal Mike Chlebowski and his narcotic detection canine, Nation, arrived on scene. Nation was deployed around the exterior of the vehicle and alerted to the presence of narcotics. Corporal Hoodman located alleged drug paraphernalia and pills in Brannan’s purse in the vehicle and methamphetamine was subsequently recovered from her pocket.

Brannon was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, possession of a schedule two narcotic, and misdemeanor possession of legend medication and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Brannan was released on $1,000 bond.
