Nazarene church sets month’s activities

— The Grangeville Church of the Nazarene has a variety of activities including the following:

•Family self-defense classes are held each Friday through May 11 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., in the fellowship hall. Free of charge, donations to the church accepted. For details contact Todd McGeorge at 208-702-2307.

•Parenting class “Successful Tips for Transitions and Safety in our Surroundings,” will be held Tuesday, April 17, 6-8:15 p.m., with a potluck at 6 p.m. Childcare will be provided. This is open to all parents.

•Men’s breakfast is held the first Saturday of each month at 7 a.m. Contact Cory Thesan at 208-983-8079.

•A fund-raising dinner for Cristo Vive (summer camp for persons with disabilities) will be held April 21. The Idaho County Orchestra will perform. Tickets are available from Carol McLean and Carol Schmidt. Call the church at 208-983-0552.

 •Women’s Bible study is held Thursdays, 9 a.m., at the church. Contact Carol McLean at 208-507-1241.

•Men’s Bible study is held Thursdays, 4 p.m., Crema Café, call Roger at 208-962-5200.

•Choir practice is held Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. and prayer meeting is at 7 p.m.

*Sunday services are at 9 a.m. with Sunday school for all ages following at 10:30 a.m., and evening services are at 6 p.m.
