Asotin nugs Grangeville, 8-4

Baseball

Grangeville outhit their hosts 9-6 during a road game last Friday, April 20, at Asotin, but all the Bulldogs’ traffic on the basepaths added up to half Asotin’s runs in an 8-4 loss.

Grangeville hitters Chase Adkison, Tyler Stephens, Ethan Bonn, Hunter Schoo and Kolten Key all hit doubles, according to the Lewiston Tribune, but pitchers Terin Judy and relievers limited the GHS offense even as the Panthers touched up Grangeville starter Tyler Stephens for six runs in four innings.

The GHS defense committed three errors on the afternoon.
