— The sun is out, and I will soon be out in it. But first some news flashes.

A local wedding at Three Devils Campground last Saturday. Stan Denham and Neile Grimm tied the knot along the river, then had a reception dinner at Wilderness Inn. Friends and family stayed in the cabins here in Lowell and the big, log handmade kingsize beds were made by none other than Stan himself.

Another twist was that Stan’s son, Ryan, had to put on a different hat right after the wedding for his date to the Clearwater Valley Prom with Lowellite Miss Martha Smith. They attended the wedding, slipped into formal attire and off they went to dance the night away!

On the river last week was a big group from AIRE including Alan and Mary Hamilton, James Griffith, Jake Olsen, and John Thompson.

Three Rivers Rafting, Mammoth River Adventures, and Bear Paw Outfitters out of Missoula all got out there and got the dust off their boats!

Max Smith helped gramma with lunch for the river trips and his mom, Dani, photographed it all.

What a great time of year!
