The Prairie girls continued their march toward the top of the Whitepine League standings with a 22-7 mercy-rule win over Culdesac Monday night, April 23. The blowout marked the Pirates’ second drubbing of Culdesac this season, having posted a 32-2 win in the season opener.

Prairie has so far swept Troy and Kendrick, and with a 20-5 win over Lapwai in late March, the Pirates are still undefeated in league play.

Their lone loss of the season so far came March 29 against Colton.

Having played league-leader Genesee April 24, Prairie’s league schedule is due to accelerate through the first of May.

They’re set to host Lapwai this Thursday, visit Potlatch for a double-header on Saturday, and visit Genesee May 1.
