Prayer box set up at Methodist church

GRANGEVILLE – Have you noticed the small box at the steps of the United Methodist Church in Grangeville? Located at 404 West Main Street, the “Prayer Box” is open to the public.

Those wishing to leave a request may write it down and slip it into the box.

“It is designed to be anonymous, because we understand that not everyone is comfortable entering a church and asking in a public setting,” Pastor Ryan Campbell said. “We believe prayer is powerful and effective so we want to extend this to the entire community.”

The box had been dedicated and is ready for use. Those who wish to identify themselves may do so on a provided prayer card if they prefer.

“There are also cards available if someone feels compelled to praise the Lord rather than voice any specific needs,” Campbell added.
