GRANGEVILLE Once a loan officer at a local financial institution, Amy Hall felt the pull for a change in her life. That change came, in part, due to her father.
“He was in declining health and he needed me – he took care of me all my life and now it’s my turn to take care of him,” she said.
Hall began providing home health care for her father and last December began working at GHR. There, she obtained her CNA (certified nursing assistant) credentials.
“I love it here – all the people are my grandpas and grandmas,” she smiled. “And the people I work with, it’s just a great, positive team.”
Hall is still able to care for her dad before her shift at GHR, which makes for long days, but she said she has “great family support.”
“Without them, I couldn’t do it,” she said.
Hall and her family moved to Grangeville when she was 15. She graduated from Grangeville High School in 1998. She is married to Brandon and they have three children: A son, Quinn, 16; and two daughters, Emma, 12, and Piper, 7.
“I enjoy my job and having the flexibility to help my dad, too,” she said. “This is a good place to work.”
