Idaho as rock-solid conservative bastion not today’s reality

Letters to the Editor

I’ve been told that folks around these parts are laid back when it comes to politics ‘and we like it that way’.

Well, I wish we lived in the good old days, when Idaho was a rock-solid bastion of conservatism.

But that’s not today’s reality.

Fact is, Idaho has a big blue target on it, ripe for the taking by leftists.

Obama may be gone, but his ilk have not gone away. Far from it.

Just check out the 2018 Idaho Democrat Party platform and the Idaho Democrat candidate for governor (“progressive” Paulette Jordan).

The leftist (AKA progressives and their kissing cousins, Democratic Socialists) campaign to “fundamentally change” America continues to this day. Just check out the local and national support Paulette Jordan is getting.

Leftists have already “accomplished” much. Things like: Getting God out of our schools and public places; taxpayer-funded abortions; destruction of the traditional family; Obamacare; exponential expansion of the welfare state; trashing of our immigration laws; changing our schools into leftist political indoctrination centers; normalization of deviancy; not to mention the anti-free speech and anti-2nd Amendment movements – and that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

How did leftists accomplish these ‘fundamental transformations’?

They’re dedicated, motivated, stick together, and they have a plan.

Has anybody seen the conservative/Republican plan to fight this scourge? I don’t think there is one.

Like I said... leftists have a plan. It’s Saul Alinsky’s book, Rules for Radicals, which every conservative should read.

The leftist enemies of this nation are at war with America. And they’re not going to stop.

We may have a liberty champion in the White House now, but the pendulum will swing back. We’d better learn who our adversary is and how to fight back effectively, or we’ll get run over.

To that end, here’s a link to a relevant article from Townhall, which I hope you will read:

I am very, very concerned for the future of our state and this nation. And I will not see us go down the drain without a fight.

Will you?
