Organization - Pioneer Senior Citizens - Aug. 22, 2018

— Agnes Forsman-Hill opened the July 31 meeting of the Pioneer Senior Citizens with the Pledge of Allegiance and led the dinner prayer. There were no visitors this week. There were 41 meals served and 23 deliveries.

Ralph Sprute won the free dinner. Lorraine Nuxoll won the nickel Bingo pot with Connie Forsmann winning the BING pot and Sally Duman winning the blackout. Door Prize winners were Ella Schaeffer, Theresa Sonnen, Connie Forsmann, Joe Didier, Eldon Anglen and Agnes Forsman-Hill.

Seniors wanting to go to Lewiston to shop or doctor’s appointments and don’t want to drive, call Coast driver Katie Manifold at 509-397-2935.

Come join us for a meal every Tuesday for a small donation at the Pioneer Senior Center in the Cottonwood Community Hall basement. Meals are served at 12 noon.

Menu for August 14, Idaho County Fair Week, was:

Swedish Meatballs, Sweet Potatoes, Green Beans, Pickled Beet Salad, Strawberry Parfait.
