GRANGEVILLE A couple of 5-2 losses last week marked the start of the Bulldog boys soccer season — and marked the program’s progress since last fall.
Grangeville’s 2017 opener against McCall ended up an 11-0 blowout, and GHS made the rematch last Tuesday, Aug. 21, more competitive.
The same goes for Grangeville’s performance against St. Maries last Saturday afternoon, Aug. 25.
Michael Told and Jesus Perez scored the goals against McCall. Later in the week against St. Maries, Perez notched his second of the season the same way he netted his first: with a shot from the penalty spot. Aiden Acton scored Grangeville’s other goal against St. Maries.
Next, Grangeville (0-2) is set to host Priest River on Thursday, Aug. 30, with the boys next in action Sept. 8 at Timberlake.
