SRHS flattens Nezperce
The Salmon River boys prevailed over Nezperce 62-49 on Saturday night, Dec. 1, on the strength of four double-digit scorers led by Randy McClure (19 points). Canyon Harper added 15, Jimmy Tucker scored 12 and Reece Jones tallied 11 for SRHS. Jimmy Barnett (18) and Landon Wahl (13) scored double-figures for Nezperce.
Jackson, Francis power CV past Genesee
Clearwater Valley’s Evan Jackson (15 points) and Laban Francis (10) powered the Rams to a 46-32 win over Genesee last Saturday, Dec. 1 – and brought CV out to a 3-0 start, the Lewiston Tribune reported.
Brisbois, Sams, Mercer elevate Kamiah
The Kamiah boys beat Kendrick 57-48 last Saturday, Dec. 1, as Sam Brisbois (15 points), Jace Sams (14) and Kaden Mercer (10) picked up the Kubs, who picked up their second win of the season.
St. Maries pops Prairie in OT
With Spencer Schumacher (14 points), Damian Forsmann (11) and Devin Ross (10) all scoring double-digits, the Pirates took St. Maries to overtime last Saturday night, Dec. 1, and took a first-night loss to the Lumberjacks, 53-50.
Pressley, Jackson lift CV over Timberline
Clearwater Valley’s Tyler Pressley (15 points) and Evan Jackson (14) packed most of the scoring punch the Rams displayed in a 46-38 win over Timberline of Weippe last Thursday night, Nov. 29, the Lewiston Tribune reported.
Four Bulldogs score double-digits at Kamiah
Trey Dreadfulwater (15 points), Jacob Vanderwall (13), Kyle Frei (11) and Blake Darr (10) supplied two-thirds of Grangeville’s scoring during a 74-34 win at Kamiah last Thursday night, Nov. 29. Sam Brisbois (13) and Jace Sams (10) provided the bulk of the points KHS scored.
Brisbois, Oatman, Krogh power Kamiah win
The Lewiston Tribune reported Sam Brisbois (15 points), Titus Oatman (14) and Luke Krogh (10) keyed a 58-40 Kubs win over Nezperce last Tuesday, Nov. 27. Jimmy Barnett (12) and Landon Wahl (11) led Nezperce.
Annual Idaho County Shootout is Friday night
Prairie is scheduled to visit Grangeville for the annual Idaho County Shootout Friday night, Dec. 7, with the girls at 6 p.m. and the boys to follow. The PHS boys and girls squads are set to host Troy Saturday, Dec. 8, with JV action at 1 p.m. and the varsity teams to follow at 4 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., respectively.
The Kamiah boys are scheduled to host Genesee on Saturday, Dec. 8.
The Salmon River boys are set to host Nezperce for a JV game at 4:30 p.m. MT Friday night, Dec. 7, with the varsity girls to follow and the varsity boys to take the floor after that. The varsity boys are set to play Wilder at noon MT Saturday, Dec. 8, at Mountain View High, in Meridian. The varsity boys and girls are both set to play Dec. 11 at Meadows, with the girls at 6 p.m. MT and the boys penciled to start at 7:30 p.m. MT.
The Clearwater Valley boys are set to visit Kendrick Saturday, Dec. 8, with a JV half-game at 1 p.m. and the varsity to follow.
