GHS Band Disneyland fund-raiser offers tri-tip dinner for four

County Democrats to meet Feb. 12

‘Have a Heart for Health Care’ event is Feb. 12 at Soltman Center
GRANGEVILLE — Idaho voters are invited to the “Have a Heart for Health Care” event at the Soltman Center Monday, Feb. 12, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Petitions to put expanded Medicaid on the ballot in November will be available to sign by registered voters. Voter registration will also be available for those who aren’t yet registered.

March 9 set for GOP Lincoln Day Dinner
GREENCREEK – The annual Lincoln Day Dinner will be held Friday, March 9, at the Greencreek Community Hall. The event starts with a 5 p.m. social hour and silent auction, dinner at 6 and a forum for the five candidates for lieutenant governor at 7 p.m. Candidates for state through local offices will also be introduced.
The event is sponsored by the Republican central committees for Idaho and Lewis counties.

Spencer to present at historical society

RIGGINS - A chili feed and Bingo fund-raiser is set for tonight, Wednesday, Feb. 7, at the Riggins Community Center. Cost is $10 per person and includes meal, drink, dessert plus two Bingo cards. For just chili it is $7 per person and just Bingo is $5 with two free cards. Dinner starts at 5 p.m., Bingo at 6:30 p.m. Proceeds go toward area senior activities.
UYLC, KAP set family Valentine activity for Friday, Feb. 9
KAMIAH — The Upriver Youth Leadership Council (UYLC) is partnering with the Kamiah Afterschool Program (KAP) to provide an evening of Valentine’s Day card making, a “heart hunt,” and playing “musical hearts” (similar to musical chairs) for youth in grades K-four, Friday, Feb. 9.
This event will be held at the Kamiah Elementary School in the multi-purpose room from 6 to 8 p.m. The materials needed for this activity will be provided by KAP, and the refreshments will be provided by UYLC. A parent must be with their child to attend this event. The goal of UYLC and KAP is to make sure that clean, wholesome, safe, and fun activities are provided for the youth of the Kamiah community. This meeting’s agenda topics will include the Forest Service Road Closures, New State Legislation proposals to protect historic roads and trails, the USFS New Wild & Scenic proposals, Districts Land Use Plans and the economic benefits created by mineral developments in our region.
