‘Gulliver’s Travels’ performance by MCT set for this Friday



— It’s an out-of-this-world original sci-fi musical adventure in the Missoula Children’s Theatre’s adaptation of Gulliver’s Travels. With his spaceship wrecked and his trusty computer on the fritz, brave explorer Gulliver finds himself lost in space. While transporting from world to world, Gulliver discovers fighting aliens, foolish Yahoos, robots and more – all who need just as much help from Gulliver as Gulliver needs from them!

Gulliver will be played by Sydney Roach and Matthew Nelson and his trusty computer JCN (Jason) is Elli Klapprich. The Giant King, Queen and Princess of Brobdingnag (brab-ding-nag) are Joel Gates, Eliana Edwards and Sienna Wagner. Ksenya Barela is the Giant Wasp, Jefferson Good is the Maniacal Scientist of Lapunta (la-poon-ta) and the Robots of Lapunta are Kaylee Dreyer, Makenna Denuit, Eliana Dent, Adrian Rodriguez, Reese Pollan, Madison Fredrickson, Emmie Told, Sawyer Astle, Dylan Miller, Tabitha Stoner, William Told and Caleb Wilson. The Houyhnhnm (who-in-um) Horses are Kaylee Sullivan, Carlee Pikus, Kaylee Pikus, and Ella Denuit, the Yahoos are Caryss Barger, Augustyne Warden, Mia N., Addie C., Gabriella N., Samantha O., Chloe W., Hallie C., Payje S., Abigayle P., Halle Told, and Kimberly Seaver the Aliens of Liiliput are Maylee Wasem, Oliver Beeson, Luke Dent, Bella Musick, Carson Barger, Katelynn Nail and Samantha Spencer and the Aliens of Blefuscu (blue-foo-skoo) will be played by Bella W., Emily E., Annie S., Chloe W., Karli S., Jessi P., Julianna N., Julia Klapprich, Molly Blinn, Caoimhe K., Ellie D., Jenna Denuit, Autumn Long, and Noah R. Serving as Assistant Directors will be Abbi Forsgren, Sydnee Long, Makenna York, and Bryce Forsgren.

The play will be presented at 7 p.m. at the Grangeville Elementary Middle School multi-purpose room this Friday, Feb. 9. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children and are available at the door. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
