Bob and Carolyn Haning of Grangeville will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary Feb. 24, 2018.
Bob and Carolyn (Sarbacher) Haning were married Feb. 24, 1968, at Sts. Peter and Paul Parish in Grangeville. They were blessed with three children: Bryan, Tami (Charles) and Jennifer. They are the grandparents of two children, Beth Ann (Mike) and Anthony and great-grandparents of four girls: Shalynn, Kaylee, Aubree and Kinzlee.
They have spent 50 years working side by side owning and operating several businesses including The Four Wheel Drive Center in Lewiston, C&B Towing and Auto, Grangeville U Haul, C&B Upholstery, Bob’s Mobile Home Service and Dreamweaver’s Travel, all in Grangeville. They currently own and operate Aloha Laundry and We Deliver in Grangeville.
They have been active members of both clubs and organizations throughout their marriage. In Lewiston they were members of the Lewis & Clark Stock Car Racing Association and the Valley Seaport 4x4 Club. Throughout the years in Grangeville they have been members of Eagles, Elks, Kiwanis, Relay for Life and Prairie Motor Sports. After the death of their daughter, Jennifer, in 1987, they started Jenta Industries, a non-profit organization. For the next 25 years, Carolyn handmade “Love Puppies” that were sent to pediatric units in hospitals across the United States and beyond.
Family and friends are invited to a reception Saturday, Feb. 24, at The Gallery, 107 W North St in Grangeville. The celebration will be from 2-5 p.m.
