Clearwater Valley will be the first of three local 1AD1 boys basketball teams to play an elimination game when the Rams square off against Genesee at 3 p.m. Feb. 10 in Kooskia.
The District II tournament is double-elimination the rest of the way, with the CV-Genesee winner to visit Potlatch for the first round, at 7 p.m. Feb. 12. That night, Kamiah will visit Troy at 7 p.m.
The first-round winners will play in Lewiston Feb. 13, with the Kamiah-Troy winner against top-seeded Lapwai at 6 p.m. at LCSC and CV, Genesee or Potlatch facing second-seeded Prairie at 7:30 p.m. that night.
The district title game will be played at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 20 at LCSC, preceded by the first of two consolation rounds. The winner of the Feb. 22 consolation final could qualify for the 1AD1 state tournament by way of a 1 p.m. Feb. 24 bi-district play-in game at Post Falls.
