Grangeville boys eliminate Orofino

— A 63-39 regular season win over Orofino Feb. 13 — Grangeville’s second in Central Idaho League play this season — saw Hunter Schoo tally a team-high 12 points, pacing a well-rounded effort that also got Braison Norman (11 points) and Blake Darr (10) involved in the scoring.

Then, in the district tournament, the Grangeville boys ended Orofino’s season with a 72-35 win last Monday night, Feb. 19.

Noah Kaschmitter scored 23 points for Grangeville, and Jacob Vanderwall scored 14.

The district tournament shifts to Troy, where GHS will play St. Maries at 6 p.m. tonight, Feb. 21. The series continues at 6 p.m. Thursday night and on Saturday, if necessary.
