— Get ready to support the arts in Grangeville – it’s “Music Time.”

The Grangeville bands in choirs, grades six through 12, will present the musical dinner and auction event Saturday, March 10, at Grangeville High School. Tickets are on sale through March 1 and are $20 per person or $35 per couple. Cost at the door is $25 per person.

Students from Grangeville Elementary Middle School and the entire GHS music department will be performing for the evening fund-raiser.

Dinner, which starts at 5 p.m., will be creamy garlic chicken breast, mashed potatoes, green beans and Caesar salad. Raffles and a silent auction will also be held, and a live auction will begin at 7 p.m.

“This is to help the Grangeville music program as a whole to buy new instruments, music, attend festivals, and put on performances,” said Grangeville music teacher Merrill-Lee Rasmussen.

One upcoming trip will include the GHS band traveling to Disneyland in March to perform and record.

Tickets for the event can be purchased at the GHS office, Likkel Insurance, and Central Idaho Properties

To donate call the high school at 208-983-0580 or Rasmussen at 253-678-5757.
