— Encouragers will meet Thursday, Jan. 4, 11:30 a.m., in the Pizza Factory meeting room.

Speaker this month is Janis Hart Scott who will share memories of years the Hart family spent in Iran, when Shah Pahlavi was in office. He sought to modernize Iran by meeting the peoples’ needs, and making attitudes, styles, sports and diplomacy compatible with the rest of the world. He built a nuclear power plant to provide electricity to rural areas. Mr. Hart, a civil engineer, eagerly joined in this project. The family followed him to Iran, where they participated in the culture and were rewarded with lifelong friendships and memories. Scott will share and a queston and answer time will also be available.

Join the no host luncheon group at 126 W. Main Street to hear this account. Those who attend can purchase lunch and beverages at The Pizza Factory. Those who do not wish to eat are also invited to attend for the speaker, fellowship, prayer, songs and sharing.
