LOWELL / SYRINGA Life Flight landed twice at the confluence this past week, coming in from Missoula low and fast. Once for a truck driver and once for a slip and fall, but that’s all the details I heard.
Rented three cabins on the river last Saturday and Sunday. All of the guests were heading up the Lochsa to enjoy Jerry Johnson Hot Springs, so it must be accessible.
Even though we got a dusting of snow Monday morning, the big icy snow is starting to melt off and our driveways are not too bad! Some of my neighbors up on the hill should be able to drive up there soon!
A car went in the ditch at Syringa, right in front of River Dance Lodge, Lorraine Smith reported last Friday.
I hear hound dogs barking across the river in downtown Lowell, so cougars must be roaming around.
In case you forgot on Tuesday, 012345! – It was my birthday. So, as soon as I scrape the slushy snow off my Internet and TV satellite dishes, get my truck windshield clear of snow, dig it out, chop some firewood and pack it up to my living quarters, call ICL&P to work on problem with electricity, then fix myself a sugar free, gluten free, fat free cake, I’ll push send and send this article to the Free Press for the 40th year at the ripe old age of 73! Happy Day to me! Life is good...especially with spell check.
