Grangeville girls notch ninth win



— Led by top scorers Paige Lindsley (18 points) and Colby Canaday (15), Grangeville defeated Kamiah 52-30 in non-league action Thursday night, Jan. 25. Kati Wilkins paced Kamiah with 11. GHS led by double, 22-11, at halftime.

The Kubs – the Whitepine League fourth seed — hosted Potlatch Jan. 30, after the Jan. 31 print edition went to press. The winner will face Prairie at 6 p.m. Wednesday at LCSC, and the loser will face elimination at 7 p.m. Feb. 1 at LCSC.

The Bulldogs – whose place in the Central Idaho League final standings was to be decided by a Tuesday night contest at Orofino – will head to Genesee, where the CIL tournament is set to start at 6 p.m. Feb. 5.
