COTTONWOOD This year’s Raspberry Festival at the Monastery of St. Gertrude will feature an art show that will be a celebration of the many talents in the community. The exhibit will be located in the Johanna Room of Spirit Center. There is no entry fee and artists are responsible for any sales of their works.
To enter a creative work, pre-register at www.MyRaspberryFestival.org or contact Theresa Henson at 208-962-5065 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Guidelines: Up to three pieces per artist. All mediums welcome. No entry fee.
Drop off your entries at Spirit Center on Saturday, Aug. 4, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Organizers reserve the right not to accept entries not appropriate for family event. Include artist’s contact information and pricing on pieces for sale. Art must be picked up Sunday, Aug. 5, 4-5 p.m.
The 26th Annual Raspberry Festival will be Sunday, Aug. 5, in Cottonwood. Raspberry Festival is a one-day event that features fun activities for the whole family including a pancake breakfast, grilled hamburgers, barbecue beef sandwiches, raspberry shortcake, jam and products, an arts and crafts fair, fun run and walk, live music, a kids’ carnival, art show, car show, vintage sale, ice cream, Bingo, hand-crafting demos, chapel tours, Museum visits and more.
