Cottonwood motorcyclist injured on US95 at Winchester



— A Cottonwood motorcyclist was injured last week in a single-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 95.

Wayne G. Nimmo, 67, was transported by air ambulance to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, and from there was transferred out for further medical attention.

The crash was reported last Friday, July 13, around 1:50 p.m., according to Idaho State Police. Nimo was riding a 2013 Kawasaki southbound near milepost 279 when, according to witnesses, he lost control. The motorcycle crossed both southbound lanes and struck a guardrail on the southbound shoulder.

Nimmo was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. Both lanes of U.S. 95 were blocked during emergency response efforts.
