Public meetings start in August on forest plan revision for Nez-Clearwater National Forests



A series of open meetings starts this month for the public to ask questions on the forest plan revision for the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests.

These “Coffee with the Planners” meetings will be with the forest plan revision team and forest leadership in an informal setting to discuss the alternatives to be analyzed in the Draft Environmental Impact Statement. All open houses will take place from 5:30 to 7 p.m. (PDT).

  • Aug. 15, Wednesday – Grangeville, Forest Service office (104 Airport Road)
  • Aug. 21, Tuesday – Kamiah, Forest Supervisor’s office, (903 3rd Street)
  • Sept. 6, Thursday - Elk City, Elk City Ranger Station (300 American River Road).
