Grangeville’s new Family Dollar Store is one step closer to opening as the signs were placed on the building Thursday, May 31, despite a downpour. The store, on E Street (former King’s building) is set to open July 12.

Note that Grangeville’s Umpqua Bank parking lot will be closed at least through Friday, possible the weekend, as it is being resurfaced. Not just resurfaced, but ground down and paved! This will be very nice, especially as we approach Border Days. Thanks for your patience!
Don’t forget, the first “Business Showcase” is set for Saturday, June 9, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Gym Event Center. Information will be available from a variety of vendors. There will be a free barbecue and bounce houses for the kids as well.
